We have unit plan templates for 9th grade, 10th grade, and 11th grade PBL units. These templates provide an educator with the opportunity to learn what is needed for each piece of developing and implementing a cross-curricular PBL.

9th Grade
Quarter 1 - Collaboration
In 12th grade STEM problems and questions for the cross curricular PBL unit are no longer created by teachers, businesses or higher ed partners. 12th grade students define a STEM issue/problem, design a solution for the issue, develop a business plan for creating a business that uses the solution, and pitch their business to potential funders.

In addition to the cross-curricular units listed above, STEM School Chattanooga also has subject specific PBL lessons. We call these subject specific lessons, "Mini-PBL's." These lessons consist of - content standards, lesson overview, driving questions, hook, scaffolding activities, culminating events, content vocabulary and the lesson rubric. - At STEM School Chattanooga we hope to be able to share with everyone our cross-curricular unit plans that are used at our school. These unit plans consist of each important planning piece for creating our units - content standards, essential STEM issues, overview of unit, content vocabulary, and grading rubric. On our webpage below, you will find four sections in which we post unit work. These four section include:
- PBL Unit Templates: Base templates for creating our 9th, 10th, and 11th grade unit plans.
- PBL Unit Plans for 2015-16: Our unit plans for 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade this year. Each new unit is posted as we begin the unit throughout this year.
- Mini PBL Unit Plans: subject specific PBL lessons. We call these subject specific lessons, "Mini-PBL's."
